Terms and conditions

1. Bookings must be made at least two (2) hours in advance of travel.
2. Fares quoted are per person, per one way journey excluding taxes and charges. Fares and taxes may fluctuate due to currency exchange rates and tax changes. Infants aged under 2 years of age may fly for an administration fee of £25 per sector provided they are seated on an adults lap. The responsible adult will receive an additional 5kg of free baggage allowance. Only one infant per adult is permitted. Children aged 2 and over will be charged full fare and allocated a dedicated seat. Additionally, children between the ages of 6 months and 3 years are permitted to travel in a forward facing car seat that is approved by the CAA and meets certain requirements. The child in the car seat will need to pay the same as an adult fare. PLEASE NOTE: infants must be under 2 years of age on the date of travel.
3. All bookings and changes made using a credit card are subject to a processing fee of £4.50 per passenger per one way flight. Bookings and changes made using a debit card are subject to a processing fee of £3.00 per passenger per one way flight. Please note a minimum processing fee of £4.00 for debit card bookings and £6.50 for credit card bookings applies.

There is no charge for payments made using a visa electron card.
4. No refunds are permitted (save as otherwise provided for in conditions of carriage). Changes are permitted subject to the following criteria.

Simply click the "manage your bookings" link on the top navigation and follow the step by step process. The cost to change a booking is £30.00 (€37.50) per person, per flight, plus any difference in the total cost of the flight applicable at the time the change is made. If the available fare is lower on the new flight, no refund will be made.
• over the phone
Alternatively, changes can be made to flights by contacting the call centre on 0905 8 28 28 28 (Calls cost 65p per minute from a BT Landline. Calls from mobiles and other networks will be considerably more), the cost to change a booking is £50.00 (€63.00) per person, per flight charge for this service plus any difference in the total cost of the flight applicable at the time the change is made. If the available fare is lower on the new flight, no refund will be made. Please make sure you have your six digit booking reference and original method of payment to hand for confirmation. Name changes to flights for any reason including when a name in the flight booking does not match the passengers photo ID can only be made via the call centre.  Please note that initials are not acceptable. Name changes are subject to an administration fee is £40 (€50) per passenger, per flight plus any difference in the total cost of the flight applicable at the time the change is made, there will be no charge for people who have made an error and call to make a change within 24 hours of booking. Changes to be advised via the call centre a minimum two (2) hours prior to departure and during bmibaby reservations opening hours (seven days a week, 8am to 9pm). If you do not use your Ticket, you will be entitled to claim a refund of Air Passenger Duty, less an administration fee of £25 per passenger. Please note name changes cannot be made after a flight has departed.

changes can be made to flights at the airport, the cost to change a booking is £50 (€63) per person per flight plus an applicable fare difference. For name changes requested at the departure gate a charge of £100 (€100) will apply. If the available fare is lower on the new flight, no refund will be made. Please make sure you have your six digit booking reference and original method of payment to hand for confirmation.
6. All travel remains subject to the general conditions of carriage of bmibaby and such conditions prevail in the event of inconsistency with these rules.
7. Passengers from Ireland West Knock, please note as part of standard airport taxes and charges, a development fee of €10 is collected directly by the airport rather than by the airline/tour operator at the time of ticket bookings. This fee applies to passengers aged 12 years and over and is collected on departure. These fees are charged by the local airport in order to improve facilities. The fee is collected by the airport and can only be paid upon departure.

A £5 per passenger fee is payable upon leaving Newquay Airport. This fee is charged by the local airport in order to improve facilities. The fee is collected by the airport and can only be paid upon departure.
8. Should we receive a chargeback from your bank, bmibaby reserves the right to cancel any future travel arrangements without prior notice.
